We have yet another new arrival in class. Arena has joined us all the way from Moldova. The children have been making her feel very welcome all week. To celebrate we have added another astronaut to our class photo. It's getting pretty packed up in space. :)

We've added some downloadable files to the Science Page to help with identifying some of the most common garden birds in Ireland.

We've opened a few new pages and renamed our Science Fair Page to just Science. We have lots to put up here in the coming weeks and months. We have a new page for the Art lessons we have been having with Sara and the other is for our next big project on the Titanic.

We have also had another new arrival in the school. Serban has joined us in the past week and is already settling in well. We look forward to showing Serban all of the activities we have planned in the coming months.

This week we got a new student to 4th Class A. Patrick has joined us from a Gaelscoil and is fitting in brilliantly already. You'd think he had been with us since the very beginning.

Welcome to 4th Class A at Carrigaline Educate Together National School, Patrick (we call it CETNS) for short. :)

This week we have added more videos to the Irish Page. These are their readings from Leigh sa Bhaile. I'll upload the videos for the week over the weekend so that they have all of them available at once. The homework page will also be updated weekly.
We've also put up our first fun video of the year. A visit to the International Space Station by 4th Class A. We used a green screen to create the effect especially for Space Week. We've heard that some of the Junior Infants actually believe we travelled on a school tour to space. :)

As we will be adding content throughout the year and it may be become difficult to keep up to date with what is new we will add a post here to highlight some of the additions to our site.
