What a day we had at Cushiony. The kids ran, jumped and crawled their way through the various activities. To celebrate the day we have two videos for you. One of all the epic moments caught on video and a slideshow of some very mucky children.

Connect 4 Final

After some pretty epic games the 4A Connect 4 Final took place during the week. The final was a very intense affair. :)

World Book Day

Dancing with Audrey and Gillian

Two members of staff, Audrey and Gillian are taking part in this years Strictly Come Dancing in Carrigaline. We were delighted they offered to run a quick dance lesson for the children. I think the smiles from everyone in the hall showed how much fun they had.

Code Week

Today we took on the task of Coding especially for Code Week. Photos and video to come over the weekend. Miko coded his very own Star Wars game which you can access at the link below. Well done Miko. Great response from all the children to the activities today.

Student Council Elections

This year the elections for Student Council were done in the same way we would hold any other election. A proper Polling Station was set up in the halla and all of the children went and received their polling cards there. Congratulations to the new class representative from 4th Class A, Aimee.

Dressing up for One Day Together

Lots of fun in 4th Class A as we celebrated One Day Together.

Maria’s Book

Maria made this amazing book using Minecraft and Book Creator. She wrote it in English but also translated it into Portugese. Even better if you click an image on the book you can hear Maria read it.

4th Class A Assembly

4th Class A got the honour of hosting the very first Assembly of the School year. The children had been reading extracts from the Iron Giant so we created a 7 foot high model of the Iron Giant which we built in front of everyone on the day. The also did a song based on being a robot. The costumes the children created themselves at home were just amazing.
